Leaders, this is your curated feed of what’s on.

We all are busy, but it would be a shame if you missed leadership news.

1. Business

  • Goodbye blue bird. Hi, big plans! CEO Linda Yaccarino said: “X will have features “centered in audio, video, messaging, payment/banking” and make it a “global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities.”

Hollywood strike - what do they want?

  • Fair compensation that accounts for inflation, revenue sharing on top of residuals, protection from AI technology, and updates to pension and health contribution caps.

  • Sounds familiar? Business leaders across fields face similar challenges with inflation, pensions, and AI technology.

  2. Don’t allow cost reduction to erode the culture.

  3. Prioritize R&D and innovation above all else.

  • "We believe in the long-term opportunity for Barbie. But we need to evolve her, keep her relevant and in the centre of cultural conversation," says CEO Ynon Kreiz

Actors Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie in a still image taken from a scene in the Barbie movie. They're both in a pink open-top car driving along a road in what looks like a desert. A rainbow can be seen in the background over a mountain range with the words Barbieland underneath it. Margot as Barbie is wearing a pink dress and pink hat with a pink bow in her plaited blonde hair and is sat in the front seat with her hands on the pink steering wheel. Ryan as Ken is sat in the back of the car with his bleach blonde hair and a pink jacket on which is covered in the letter B. Both have their mouths open as if they are singing
